Job Purpose

Ensure the safety, security, and health of employees, customers, and assets through robust physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, guarding). Oversee facilities management, health & safety compliance, and vendor performance to maintain clean, safe, and operational bank branches and Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Financial Performance

Manage security and facilities budgets cost-effectively
Conduct cost-benefit analysis on maintenance investments
Drive savings through vendor SLAs and resource optimization
Collaborate with Head EBS on insurance and risk coverage

Customer Service Excellence

Ensure seamless security/facility services for customer operations
Minimize disruptions during incidents
Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming bank environments

People Leadership

Supervise outsourced security staff for professionalism and vigilance
Coordinate with HR on staff security clearances
Train Fire Marshals, First Aiders, and H&S Champions
Conduct bi-annual security, fraud, and H&S awareness training

Process & Operational Excellence

Maintain CCTV, access control, fire/intruder alarms, and guarding
Conduct regular/annual security and fraud risk assessments
Implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules
Monitor vendor performance against SLAs
Ensure compliance with EBS policy, OSH, and environmental laws
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly incident and operational reports

Strategic Planning

Advise on security design for new/renovated branches
Enhance business continuity and crisis response
Drive innovation in physical security and facilities management

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s in Security Management, Facilities Management, Administration, or related
Professional qualification in Security, H&S, or Facilities Management advantage
5+ years in physical security and/or facilities management (corporate/banking preferred)
Proven vendor, contract, and budget management
Experience in investigations, risk assessments, and incident response
Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms, and fire systems
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
Cross-functional team player with cultural sensitivity
Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
