Job Summary

The Senior Accountant at Jubaili Agrotec is responsible for overseeing critical financial operations, including cash management, reconciliations, and financial reporting This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills to ensure accurate accounting processes and compliance with organizational standards in a dynamic agribusiness setting

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

• Take care of the cash box that holds foreign money
• Do random checks of the cash box and petty cash
• If there are differences between cash on hand and SOA that don't make sense, do what has to be done
• Give the go-ahead for the quantity of petty cash to be replenished (branches and POS)
• Check the quantity of cash that needs to be collected from the POS or the bank for replenishment
• Sign and approve payments from the petty cash and cashbox
• Please tell us where the money is coming from (the bank) and how it will be paid (cash, check, or transfer)
• Check and sign the reconciliations for banks, suppliers, branches, and sister companies
• Give the go-ahead for the paperwork and management of fixed assets so that depreciation can happen
• Run a stock check and enter any transactions that have to do with it into the accounting system
• Make sure that all of the closing stages are done correctly and that everything is in order
• Start the process of analyzing financial statements
• Look at the balance sheet and the income statements
• Check the payroll that the HR department made
• Make a control report for accounting work

Skills:  
You need to be good at English, and French is a plus
