Job Description

The Senior Frontend Engineer will be responsible for setting up and following coding standards, frontend architecture, and best practices for improving performance. The job includes using modern frontend frameworks (ideally React), connecting RESTful APIs, and making sure that the site follows SEO and accessibility rules.

 The engineer will be expected to take part in technical design talks, mentor others, and keep up with industry trends to help the company keep becoming better and come up with new ideas

Main Duties

• Create, build, and keep up responsive, reusable, and scalable UI components and pages
• Work with teams from different departments to turn business needs into easy-to-use interfaces
• Set and enforce the best practices, coding standards, and architecture for the frontend
• Make web apps faster, more scalable, and easier to use
• Connect frontend apps with backend services and RESTful APIs
• Review code, give helpful input, and help less experienced devs learn
• Look into and use new frontend technologies and trends in the industry
• Take part in planning meetings, talks about technical design, and project roadmaps

Qualifications and Experience

Skills and Abilities in Technology

• Very good in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• A lot of familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, especially React, but also Vue or Angular
• Familiarity with libraries for managing state, like Zustand, Recoil, and Redux
• Knowledge of SSR/SSG frameworks like Next.js and Nuxt.js
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
• Has worked with design systems and libraries of components
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as DevOps best practices
• Knowing how to use build tools and bundlers like Webpack and Vite
• A good grasp of SEO, performance optimization, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG) standards
• Able to use Git and contemporary CI/CD workflows well
• Good at debugging and testing in a browser
