Job Summary

To focus on strengthening the organisation’s assurance function, support effective governance, risk management, and control processes

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities in Detail

• Plan for assigned audit engagements in a way that follows standards by learning enough about best practices, legal and regulatory frameworks, policies, and procedure manuals
• Do internal audits in different areas to check how well governance, risk management, and control processes are working to make sure that the company is following its own rules and the rules set by outside groups
• Find operational, financial, and regulatory risks and suggest ways to reduce them
• Help design and carry out yearly audit plans based on the results of risk assessments
• Write detailed audit reports that show management what you found and what you think they should do about it
• Do risk assessments to find high-risk locations and then set audit priorities based on those
• Work with stakeholders to learn about business processes, risks, and control environments, find ways to optimize processes and controls, and suggest the best ways to make operations more efficient
• Make sure that the audit recommendations are followed up on and that the problems that were found are fixed
• Help with and carry out the allocated fraud investigation
• Be flexible so that you may take on any other tasks that come up from time to time
