Description

Muyobo Consult is looking for an accountant that can organize and provide accounting and financial expertise that meets International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The job makes ensuring that financial reports are correct that the company follows the rules and that operations run smoothly to reach business goals

Important Duties

• Make sure that payments and receivables are accurately recorded in the company's records
• Check keep an eye on and keep strong internal control systems (dual control separating duties checking transactions etc.)
• Make the yearly budget and keep an eye on how well it is followed all year
• Make plans for cash flow every month
• Handle worker payments entitlements liabilities and vouchers
• Do and keep track of monthly stock-taking; write up reports on stock and capital
• By the 5th of each month get your accounting records General Ledger (GL) supporting schedules and management reports ready and send them in
• Handle payroll processing and legal duties (such WHT NSSF Local Service Tax etc.) making sure that returns are filed on schedule
• Make that the accounting system's data is correct by reconciling the general ledger and bank accounts
• Keep good ties with bankers and other people outside the company
• Keep an eye on stock control and make sure that the Stock Controller keeps stock cards and ledgers up to date

Minimum Requirements for Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in business finance accounting or a related discipline
• At least two years of accounting experience particularly in a distribution or FMCG setting
• Showed that they know how to file taxes and follow the rules
• Having a professional credential such a CPA is a plus
• A lot of experience with accounting systems reconciling accounts and financial reporting requirements
• Ability to work under pressure and put in extra hours when needed
• Good at talking to and getting along with other people

More Requirements

• At least two Principal Passes at the A Level
• Gets a passing grade in English and Math at O' Level
• Age: 28 years old or younger
