This job involves both sales tasks and driving safely and efficiently to help with distribution and provide great customer service
Main Duties
Duties of Sales
- Make sure that all sales are recorded correctly in the corporate system
- Make sales by cold phoning going door-to-door giving presentations getting referrals and so on
- Get the Managing Director's permission for credit sales
- Predict sales come up with new plans and see how well they work Keep and grow your client database create relationships and keep track of how well you're doing
- Look into possible clients follow up on leads and meet or beat sales goals
- Go to meetings training courses and sales events to learn about new things in the field
- Gather and share information on competitors' products prices and business plans
- Answer questions from customers fix problems and take things to the next level when needed
- Give the boss accurate daily and monthly sales reports
- Make sure that all interactions with customers meet high standards
Responsibilities of the Driver
- Drive and take care of corporate cars making sure they are clean and safe
- Check the car before and after the journey and report any problems right once
- Follow the delivery instructions fill out the paperwork and keep the receipts
- Follow corporate rules traffic laws and road safety rules when you drive
- Deliver goods according to journey plans making sure they are correct
- Make sure that the vehicles have valid road licenses insurance and GPS tracking
- Tell the police insurance companies and management about accidents or other events
- Help load and unload goods when necessary
- Do other tasks that Management tells you to do
What You Need to Know and Have
- A minimum of UACE (A' Level) or a diploma in marketing sales or a business-related discipline
- A valid commercial vehicle driving permit (CM CH or something similar)
- A track record of sales success ideally in the FMCG or distribution industries
- Experience driving delivery vehicles; being able to ride a Tuk Tuk is a plus
Skills and Abilities
- Good at negotiating and selling
- Great skills in talking to and helping customers
- Being able to change and adapt to new situations
- Good arithmetic and number abilities for sales reconciliations
- Good hand-eye coordination and driving ability
- The ability to accomplish sales goals and operate well under pressure
- The ability to solve problems and write reports
