Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager's job is to increase sales and market share in the area they are in charge of. This job includes maintaining distributor connections, directing and coaching a team of Senior/Technical Sales Representatives, and making sure that sales goals are met.
The person who gets the job will be a great leader who can also establish client loyalty, look at market trends, and get long-term business results.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and inspire a group of Senior/Technical Sales Representatives.
- Create and carry out strategic sales programs to meet and surpass regional goals.
- Build and keep excellent relationships with customers and distributors.
- Make regular visits to customers, provide presentations, and teach them on products.
- Push sales campaigns, product launches, and market penetration.
- Keep an eye on how well distributors are doing, how much stock they have, and whether they are following price rules.
- Look at sales statistics and market trends to find ways to grow.
- Make sure that all health and safety and pharmacovigilance rules are followed.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, ideally in animal health or a related discipline.
- At least four years of experience managing a sales team.
- A long history of meeting and beating sales goals.
- Great at leading, talking to people, and analyzing the market.
