Job Summary:
As the Marketing Manager, your main job will be to come up with and carry out marketing plans that have a big effect on growth, market share, and profits.
You will work closely with the Regional Director and Commercial teams to turn big-picture goals into plans that can be put into action. You will also be in charge of making sure that the brand is well-positioned across all product categories.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and put into action complete marketing and business plans for East Africa
- Do a market and competition analysis to find chances.
- Create and carry out new marketing strategies to make the brand more visible.
- Work with the R&D and Project Management Team to handle New Product Introductions (NPI)
- Work with teams from different areas to carry out marketing campaigns that work together.
- Use KPIs to keep an eye on and measure performance, and change strategy to get the best results.
- Manage budgets and resources to get the most out of your investment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Marketing Manager in the Pharmaceutical business, ideally in Veterinary medicine
- A proven track record of creating and carrying out marketing plans
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
- Experience managing budgets and completing projects
- A business perspective that lets you address both strategic and operational needs
