Job Title: Assistant Claims Analyst

PURPOSE:
To make sure that claims are processed, assessed, and settled quickly and correctly according to corporate rules, regulatory requirements, and service standards, while also protecting the company from false or unfair claims.

Responsibilities, Roles, and Duties

A. Processing and Evaluating Claims

Take, record, and acknowledge claims from policyholders.
Check and make sure that all claim documentation and reports are complete.
Check claims against the terms and exclusions of the policy.
Suggest that claims be approved, denied, or looked into more.
Look at the claims that were made and tell the customer what papers they need to back them up.
Make sure that all claims are adequately recorded and forward any claims that seem fishy to the supervisor.
Keep an eye on claims reserves all the time because new information comes in, and close files when all payments have been made.
Send in claim documentation on time to make it easier to get reinsurance recoveries.

B. Managing customers and other important people

Answer questions from clients, providers, and middlemen about claims.
Help customers understand what they need to do to file a claim, how to do it, and when.
Make and keep good connections with those who have policies.
Give out discharge vouchers and make sure the customer uses them.
Check on payments for claims.

C. Following the rules and reporting

Make sure that claims are handled according to company rules, service level agreements, and rules set by the government.
Keep proper records of all claims.
Make reports on the performance, trends, and risks of claims on a regular basis so that management can make decisions.

Requirements, Education, and Skills

Requirements for School and Work:
School
Degree of Bachelor
A bachelor's degree in actuarial science or a related subject.

Professional Qualification
Insurance Diploma

Experience that is relevant
At least two years of relevant work experience.

Skills and Abilities:
Skills for Analyzing and Solving Problems
Paying attention to details
Great talents in talking to people, giving presentations, and communicating.
Honest, self-motivated, focused on goals, and able to work with little supervision.
