The Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA), established under the Free Zones (Amendment) Act No. 30 of 2024, is a government agency formed by merging the Uganda Free Zones Authority and the Uganda Export Promotion Board. Operating under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, UFZEPA oversees the establishment, development, management, marketing, and control of free zones, while promoting and coordinating export activities in Uganda.
