Summary of the Job:

Acorns International School is looking for an Early Years Teacher to teach a full curriculum, set up fun learning spaces, and help young students meet their educational goals in an international IB and Cambridge setting.

Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Teach all parts of the early years curriculum
• Get the classroom and resources ready for lessons
• Make and carry out lesson plans
• Make and keep classroom displays
• Turn in all necessary paperwork and documentation
• Help students one-on-one and in small groups
• Take part in professional development and planning with others
• Help with school events and outings
• Keep in touch with parents and guardians
• Test students and write reports
• Make sure the learning environment is welcoming and interesting

Education, Skills, and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related subject
• Teaching qualification or certificate
• Relevant experience in teaching
• Experience working in an international school (a plus)
• Knowing how young children grow and develop
• Ability to make learning settings interesting
• Good communication and people skills
• A dedication to the whole student development
• Being aware of other cultures and having a global attitude
