Job Summary:
The PYP Teaching Assistant helps the Lead Teacher teach the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme by doing important things in the classroom.
This job is all about making the classroom a welcoming and interesting place to learn and making sure that each student gets the individual help they need to reach their academic and personal goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Lead Teacher to use the PYP curriculum in all subject areas
- Get the classroom materials, tools, and learning places ready for daily activities
- Help students with individual support and small group instruction
- Help make and keep classroom displays that show off student work
- Help with student assessment and report writing
- Help keep an eye on students during school trips, events, and outdoor activities
- Attend professional development sessions and collaborative planning meetings
- Keep accurate records and turn in required paperwork on time
- Help teachers and parents/guardians talk to each other
- Make sure that all students feel safe, respected, and included in the classroom
Qualifications and Skills:
- A diploma in education, early childhood development, or a similar field
- At least one to two years of experience working with kids in a school context
- Knowledge of the IB Primary Years Programme framework (recommended)
- Good at talking to and getting along with other people
- Ability to interact with others in a team teaching setting
- Patience, inventiveness, and excitement about working with young learners
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in a diverse multinational community
- Basic computer skills for educational purposes
