State House is looking for ten (10) experienced and results-driven Farm Managers to run and improve its farms in different parts of Uganda The people who get the jobs will be in charge of making and carrying out plans to increase agricultural productivity boost profits make sure that industry standards are followed and help national food security efforts

• Make and carry out operational and strategic plans for the farm that will help it be as productive and profitable as possible
• Make sure that best practices are followed in all areas of agricultural production and/or animal husbandry
• Take care of programs for controlling pests and diseases and methods for keeping soil healthy
• Make and keep track of the farm's budget keeping costs down and making the best use of resources
• Lead train and manage the people that work on the farm encouraging a culture of quality and efficiency
• Make sure that all farm work follows the rules for safety the environment and farming
• Keep accurate records of staff production inventory and finances
• Being able to teach and share expertise with local farmers in nearby towns
• Follow and keep up with farm certification standards when they apply

• At least five (5) years of demonstrated hands-on experience running a farm
• Technical understanding: A lot of understanding about current crop and animal production and how to run a farm in an integrated way
• Extra Requirements: Knowing about farm certification standards is a big plus
