Job Summary

The State House of Uganda is recruiting experienced, results-oriented individuals for the position of SACCO Finance Officer at multiple Presidential Industrial Hubs/Skilling Centers across the country. These field-based roles involve regular travel within designated administrative units and focus on effective SACCO and microfinance operations to enhance financial inclusion and community empowerment.

Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities

Plan and implement effective SACCO and microfinance operations
Manage financial systems and ensure accountability at the hub level
Enhance SACCO members’ financial literacy and management skills

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

Honours Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, OR
Honours Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, OR
Bachelor of Microfinance from a recognized institution, OR
Full professional qualification in accounting from an ICPAU-accredited institution
Desirable: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Monitoring and Evaluation from a recognized university
Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated financial management experience
