Position Overview

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and organizational performance.

 This position involves evaluating financial trends managing risks and ensuring robust financial planning and control systems The Finance Manager directly contributes to achieving financial strategy objectives and sustainable growth

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Forecasting

  • Prepare and control financial statements tax reports and ensure accurate profit/expenditure tracking
  • Present financial reports to stakeholders including senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Develop detailed budgets and forecasts in collaboration with relevant teams

Financial Analysis and Advisory

  • Analyze financial outcomes to recommend executive actions and prepare financial proposals
  • Develop analytical tools and automated reporting systems to enhance stakeholder decision-making
  • Implement internal audit procedures and evaluate business impact on operational performance

Financial Operations Management

  • Manage company assets and liabilities through accurate processing and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Oversee transaction documentation and financial statement reviews

Risk Audit and Compliance Management

  • Establish and enforce robust compliance with financial regulations
  • Identify monitor and mitigate financial risks using impairment control measures
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulatory requirements

Team Collaboration and Support

  • Work closely with the Finance Officer and General Management Specialist to approve transactions
  • Foster a collaborative environment to align financial strategies with organizational goals
  • Support strategic planning through consistent reporting and risk assessment

Qualifications and Competencies

EducationBachelor’s degree in Finance Business Administration Accounting or a related field
CertificationsProfessional certifications such as ACCA CPA or equivalent are highly desirable
ExperienceProven experience in financial management reporting and analysis Familiarity with financial software automated tools and compliance frameworks Experience in risk management auditing and strategic financial planning
