Job Summary

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for ensuring feeds, resources, and equipment are stored, managed, and distributed efficiently for hatchery and grow-out operations The role maintains organized inventory, ensures proper storage conditions, and facilitates timely delivery to support seamless production and minimize losses

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute feeds, tools, and materials as needed for operations
• Ensure all tools, machines, and spare parts are stored and tracked correctly
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular counts
• Monitor and ensure proper storage conditions to prevent spoilage or damage
• Collaborate with hatchery and grow-out teams to determine material and equipment needs
• Report discrepancies, missing items, or damaged products to the supervisor immediately
• Follow proper lifting and material handling techniques for safety
• Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, safety shoes, masks, etc.) during handling and storage
• Keep storage areas clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• Report spills, risks, or unsafe working conditions promptly
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

Skills:  
Good understanding of how to handle, store, and keep track of merchandise  
Great ability to organize and pay attention to details  
Ability to operate well under pressure and fulfill deadlines for operations
