• Offer expert legal guidance on all company operations including land purchases construction agreements joint ventures and property transactions
• Draft review and negotiate legal documents such as construction contracts sales agreements leases and supplier contracts
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework aligned with Ugandan laws
• Serve as the main liaison with government authorities and regulatory bodies in Uganda
• Stay updated on legal changes impacting real estate and construction advising management accordingly
• Perform risk assessments for projects from land acquisition to completion identifying and mitigating legal risks
• Conduct detailed due diligence on property acquisitions ensuring valid titles proper permits and adherence to zoning regulations
• Manage and support resolution of legal disputes or litigation for Buildnet in Ntinda Kampala
