The Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) is a government agency that is required by law to offer security and commercial printing services to the Ugandan government.
They are looking for two (2) trained Legal Officers. This is an important job in the Legal Affairs Department that lets you work on important legal and regulatory issues for a state corporation.
The corporation's legal and board activities will be handled by the Legal Officer Some of the main duties are giving legal advice helping UPPC carry out its duty as a government advisor in regulating the printing industry and keeping an eye on cases that outsourced lawyers are working on.
The officer will help with planning Board meetings write legal documents and take legal action to settle contract issues They will also provide legal secretarial services The job also includes making sure that the company follows the law writing regular reports and finding holes in current legislation that allow UPPC to do business

| A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a school that is well-known A Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice and registration as an Advocate of the Courts of Uganda are both required |
| Must be a member of the Uganda Law Society |
| At least two years of work experience after getting your degree from a well-known company |
| Understanding of business corporate and contract law |
| Good at doing legal research analysis and writing |
| Great at talking to people negotiating and solving problems |
| A strong sense of ethics honesty and the capacity to keep secrets |
| This job is open to UPPC professionals who have been with the company for at least six months |
