Job Summary

To help the project's tracking, monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes, data must be collected, analyzed, and reported quickly and accurately Feedback must also be given to improve implementation and measure impact against targets, such as the number of jobs created, households reached, and cooperatives formed

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Project Coordinator to create and keep up M&E frameworks, indicators, and methods for collecting data
  • Do baseline assessments, surveys every so often, and evaluations after interventions
  • Keep an eye on how well each part of the project is doing, such as setting up the nursery, creating jobs, the VSLA's performance, the results of youth training, the effects of MHPSS, and the performance of the cooperative
  • Gather, clean, and enter data; make sure it is accurate and consistent
  • Help in collecting field data, like going to people's homes, having focus groups, and talking to beneficiaries
  • Make M&E reports (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) and dashboards Make sure to point out the most important results, problems, and suggestions
  • Help with learning and adaptive management by using what you've learned to design the project and write down what you've learned and what works best
  • Work with partners and local stakeholders to check the data and make sure everyone is responsible

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

RequirementDetails
EducationA degree in an area relating to Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or something similar
ExperienceExperience (at least 1–3 years) collecting, analyzing, tracking indicators, and evaluating data in development or humanitarian programs
SkillsGood at both qualitative and quantitative research You should be good at using Microsoft Excel and have some expertise with data analysis software (like SPSS, Stata, or something similar) or dashboards Attention to detail, capacity to keep data correct, and great report writing skills You must be able to speak and write in English and some local languages You must be able to ride a motorcycle if you have a valid riding permit
