MEAL Officer will primarily oversee monitoring of the Tuongea project in Uganda. This role supports the project by collaborating with the Program Manager and Program Associate to develop and lead a robust MEAL system.

 Responsibilities include designing and executing MEAL activities aiding the Program Manager in creating weekly monthly quarterly bi-annual and annual reports and work plans to track project progress 

Regularly monitor project activities manage the outcome harvesting process and collect and analyze data related to project activities in Kampala Uganda

• Gather and update baseline data for project initiatives
• Create monitoring and evaluation plans for the project
• Design data collection tools
• Regularly update the Opysis system
• Build a database for project interventions
• Collect and input project activity data into the database consistently
• Perform quality checks on staff-submitted activity reports
• Track activity implementation progress
• Analyze data and generate weekly monthly and quarterly performance reports
• Develop and conduct surveys to guide programming
• Execute outcome harvesting of results
• Engage in institutional M&E activities
• Attend planning review and reflection meetings
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the supervisor for the Tuongea project in Kampala Uganda
