Job Summary
The Branch Operations Manager will help the Branch Manager make sure that daily branch operations run smoothly, that high standards of operational control are maintained (especially in customer onboarding and AML/CFT compliance), that customer service is efficient, that branch sales goals are met, and that the team works well together
Important Result Areas
Oversee Loan Officers to make sure they meet performance goals for both individuals and branches
Help the Branch Manager run meetings of the delinquent and loan committees
Help the Branch Manager develop goals for each Loan Officer Check that the loan documents are real and comprehensive
Hold weekly meetings with branch staff to talk about operational problems and changes to policies
Help with audit, compliance, HR, and other necessary support sessions at the branch
Sell Yako Bank services to clients who already use them
Follow the Bank's HR Policy when dealing with employee complaints
Plan work and time off for direct reports
Make sure that the documents for opening an account and validating the system are correct and valid
Check on paperwork that isn't finished and help with audits inside and outside the company
Help make sure that customer requests are handled quickly and correctly (e.g., issuing checks, ATM cards, and statements)
Keep track of sales kits and stock properly and ask for new supply when you need it
Use good customer service principles to solve difficult problems for customers
Keep an eye on big daily account changes and tell the Branch Manager about them Work with front officers to collect unpaid fees and improve the structure of accounts
Encourage a "speak-up culture" and a work atmosphere where people work together and get things done
Help the Branch Manager with extra responsibilities that are given to you
Start staff performance reviews, promotions, training, and transfers in accordance with HR policies
Improve the skills of your staff so they can satisfy the needs of the business now and in the future
Make sure that direct reports are safe and healthy
Work with the Branch Manager to plan and suggest staff time off
Take care of the branch's cash and vault

At least two years, with at least one year in a supervisory role in operations
