What the Job Is
Job Title: Graduate Trainee - No Experience Needed
Organization: NCBA Bank Uganda
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: To help the assigned units and departments as needed in order to learn and strengthen knowledge by following different staff members, taking part in learning experiences, and going to meetings in order to become very skilled and have the potential to become a next-generation leader and take on important roles after finishing the program.
Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Do your given tasks in a way that is both quick and effective.
- Selling and marketing bank products and services to both new and old clients.
- Find ways to improve the business and let the assigned supervisor know about them when necessary. By doing this, you will actively help the Bank's business grow and flourish.
- Do your work allocated duties against laid down processes and procedures, and within established limits and TAT.
- Be an active member of the Graduate Management Program.
- Follow all rules and regulations, and show how to behave and what values to have.
- Make good choices and decisions that are timely and useful.
- As required, successfully manage and finish all allocated tasks and tests.
- Be willing to work in any department within the Bank.
- Keep your own portfolio of evidence up to date and accurate so that all of the learning you do, both on and off the job, is recorded over the course of the program.
- Always keep up high standards of client service.
- Always keep TAT high in all aspects of performance and customer service, whether you're in the bank, writing, or on the phone.
- Follow Bank procedures for providing timely and quality service, and report or escalate issues on the relevant platforms.
- Always make sure you follow up on client questions and give feedback right away.
- Stay up to date on both old and new products so you can provide consumers good advice and sell them more of the same.
- Make sure you keep growing by learning and educating yourself all the time through e-learning and training activities at work and outside of work.
- Personal development programs that help you advance in your career. For example, job shadowing to learn about other jobs.
- To reach the high level of competence required by the program, you must take responsibility for and commit to continuing to develop yourself over the course of the 12-month program.
- Be able to adapt to varied team cultures and work settings.
- Work with your assigned supervisor to keep your performance rating at or above the level of expectations.
- Attend and pass all required core training and programs within the time limits set.
- Be willing to share what you know and learn with other program participants, coaches, and program management on a regular basis.
- Stay cheerful and brave, and look for chances to grow and learn.
- Motivate and change other people.
Skills, Education, and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from a university that is well-known.
- At least two (2) main passes at A level or the same level
- First grade at O Level or the same level, with at least a credit in Math and English
- Uganda National
