The pharmacist is in charge of giving advanced pharmaceutical care, managing medications, and making sure the pharmacy department runs safely and efficiently.
This job includes overseeing pharmacy technicians and staff, making sure they follow all rules and regulations, and working with other healthcare experts to get the best results for patients

Requirement | Details |
---|---|
Education | A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized university State license as a registered pharmacist with no disciplinary actions |
Experience | At least three years of experience working in a hospital or pharmacy, with proof of leadership qualities |
Skills:
A lot of information about drugs, pharmacology, and the rules and laws that govern pharmacies
Good in talking to others, getting along with them, and solving problems
Ability to make good choices under pressure and function in a fast-paced setting
Good in organizing things and paying attention to details
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from the board in a pharmacy specialty
Registered and licensed by the Uganda Pharmaceutical Society
Experience in a supervisory or management position before
Understanding of pharmacy automation and electronic health record (EHR) technologies
Working on quality improvement projects in a hospital setting
