Purpose of the Role

The Sales Representative will be in charge of growing the company's customer base and promoting Africente Microfinance's financial products. The main goal is to achieve long-term growth by getting new customers and building good relationships with them

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively look for and get new clients to grow the company's client base
  • Tell potential clients about the company's many financial solutions and how they work
  • Build and keep strong, good relationships with consumers to make sure they are loyal and engaged
  • Go out into communities on a regular basis to work with potential clients

Skills and Qualifications

RequirementDetails
EducationA diploma in a discipline connected to business
ExperienceAt least one year of proven experience in sales or getting new customers

Skills and Traits:  
Communication: You need to be able to persuade others and get along with them well  
Self-Management: You need to be very self-motivated and disciplined, and you should be able to work alone and fulfill your goals  
Fieldwork: The ability to fit in with communities and do fieldwork on a regular basis  
Mindset: A real desire to help people grow, serve customers, and work toward financial inclusion
