As the VTI Coordinator at ASIGMA, your job is to make sure that all parts of the Vocational Training Institution (VTI) program under the Livelihoods Restoration Program are delivered, implemented, and reported on correctly You will be in charge of VTI deliverables, making sure that training and skill-building activities match the standards set in the contract .
This includes working with stakeholders, helping trainers, keeping an eye on the progress of youth trainees, and making sure that participants are safe while learning reviews and tracer studies are going on
Responsibilities, Roles, and Duties
Give advice and information about vocational training to make sure that VTI meets all of its contract obligations
Oversee all skills training courses for VTI Youth to make sure that trainers follow the agreed-upon manual/curriculum and meet quality requirements
Give VTI trainers useful comments on how the course is going and how well the youth trainees are doing
Send reports to the Enterprise Lead every two weeks, with copies to the Vulnerable Persons Lead, and keep field agents up to date on the overall development of adolescent trainees and any problems that come up
Check and confirm all deliverables to make sure they are of professional quality, technically correct, on time, and that the materials are being made in a coordinated way
Write down any complaints, safety issues, or welfare concerns that the kids training at VTIs have and send them to the line manager at ASIGMA and the VTI coordinators
Go to the practical training centers to help and supervise
Plan trips to out-of-school learning or skilling fairs and make sure that trainers are safe and represented
Help the Research and Learning Unit with tracer studies for VTI Youth, which includes writing up case studies and success stories from the Vocational Training part
Work with the ASIGMA team and VTI teachers to keep everyone on the same page and manage their connections
Go to meetings and workshops organized by ASIGMA to review and learn about VTI skills

Education
A bachelor's degree in business management, project management, engineering, IT, or a similar discipline (or the same amount of experience)
Other Qualifications and Skills: Experience managing operations that has been proven Paying attention to details, like "being able to find two sentences out of 100 that don't have full stops" Good at solving problems and being able to think critically Knowing how to use MS Excel and ERP systems is a plus Very organized and able to handle more than one task at a time Able to work alone and with others, and be self-motivated
