The International Trade Centre (ITC) is seeking an Associate Programme Advisor to support the design and implementation of innovative blended finance facilities.
This role focuses on enhancing access to finance for small and medium enterprises particularly in Uganda's creative sector through grant programs digital loans and micro-loans.
This position is open to locally residing Ugandan nationals The contract will be administered by UNOPS on behalf of ITC

| Education | Advanced university degree in Finance Business Administration , Actuarial Science Management , ,Economics or a related field A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted |
| Experience | Minimum of two years of experience in project/programme management administration or related areas. Experience in banking impact finance or development finance is required. Proven experience in designing structuring and implementing blended finance initiatives. Experience working with financial institutions or public/private sector partners |
| Competencies | Strong financial analysis skills and knowledge of Uganda’s finance ecosystem Understanding of SME financing needs particularly in the creative sector. Professionalism creativity and commitment to continuous learning Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams |
| Languages | Fluency in English is required |
