The International Trade Centre (ITC) is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations dedicated to supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) ITC works to foster inclusive and sustainable economic development through trade and international business development.
The National Project Manager will lead the implementation of a large-scale project in Uganda's Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI) focusing on youth employment and entrepreneurship.
This position is open to locally residing Ugandan nationals The contract will be administered on behalf of ITC by UNOPS

Education | An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration management economics or a related field. A first-level degree with additional qualifying experience may be accepted |
Experience | A minimum of five years of experience in project or programme management Experience with UN-funded or large-scale donor programmes is desirable |
Competencies | Professionalism strong communication skills teamwork creativity and client orientation Knowledge of Uganda's Creative and Cultural Industries is an asset |
Languages | Fluency in English is required Knowledge of local languages spoken in Uganda is an advantage |
