The International Trade Centre (ITC) is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations dedicated to supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) ITC works to foster inclusive and sustainable economic development through trade and international business development.

Position Overview

The role involves supporting the development and implementation of programmes within Uganda's Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI) This position is open to locally residing Ugandan nationals.

The contract will be administered on behalf of ITC by UNOPS

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Programme Support: Working with clients and stakeholders to facilitate monitor and evaluate assigned programme activities This includes identifying issues and recommending corrective actions
Research and Analysis: Carrying out research on selected aspects of the CCI collecting and presenting statistical data and market information to inform programme design
Stakeholder Engagement: Assisting in consulting assignments and workshops with government bodies private sector partners and creative entrepreneurs to strengthen the CCI ecosystem
Reporting and Administration: Contributing to the preparation of reports studies and communication materials and providing administrative support for meetings and events

Qualifications and Competencies

Education	An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration management economics cultural/creative industries management tourism or a related field A first-level university degree with two additional years of experience may be accepted
Experience	A minimum of two years of experience in project/programme management or administration Experience working in Uganda's Creative and Cultural Industries is required
Competencies	Professionalism strong communication skills creativity and client orientation are essential
Languages	Fluency in English is required Knowledge of local languages spoken in Uganda is an advantage
