Key Responsibilities

• Write code that is high-quality, clean, efficient, scalable, and reusable, and that fulfills the needs of users and industry best practices.
• Create and keep up front-end and back-end apps that work together to make sure they work, perform well, and give users a smooth experience.
• Keep back-end parts up to date, test them, and improve them so that they work well and support the goals of the organization.
• Write and run unit and integration tests to make sure that essential functions work.
• Use automated pipelines to manage the deployment of applications to UAT, pilot, and production environments.
• Include strong security measures throughout the development process to make sure that they follow company security policies and industry standards.
• Do peer code reviews to keep the code quality high and make sure the apps can be maintained.
• To make the team work better together and get more done on the project, take part in Agile development activities like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Create and keep up APIs that work with both internal and external systems, and connect apps to third-party platforms to make them more useful and easier for stakeholders to use.
• Create and keep up-to-date thorough technical documentation for apps and APIs that shows changes made during development and helps keep things running smoothly.
• Help end users with technical issues and train them, work with both internal and external stakeholders to gather business needs and provide third-level support, manage code with Git, and help come up with new ideas for how the organization may solve problems.

Academic Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in an area relating to computer science, information technology, software engineering, or something similar.
• Having a suitable professional qualification is a plus.

Work Experience

• At least five years of experience in software development, with at least two years as a supervisor.
• More than five years of experience with backend technologies like Python, Golang, and C#.
• More than four years of experience with open source RDBMS systems including PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as building data models that work well.
• One year of expertise with DevOps and continuous integration and deployment.
• Having worked with front-end technologies before is a plus.
• A basic understanding of UI/UX principles to make sure the user has a decent experience.
• Knowing and using security standards on both the front end and the back end.
• Have worked in Agile settings, taken part in sprints, and worked with teams from different departments.

• Strong analytical ability to find and fix problems in development to make sure the best performance.
