Cybersecurity Officer (Job Ref: ITO4.12, Rank: SBOII)
About the Job
Are you passionate about cybersecurity? Join the Bank of Uganda’s IT Operations and Infrastructure Department as a Cybersecurity Officer (2 positions) to monitor and secure critical systems, reporting to the Team Leader, Cybersecurity.
Main Duties

| Monitor security incidents using SIEM and NAC systems. |
| Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. |
| Respond to security incidents and develop mitigation strategies. |
| Ensure compliance with COBIT and ISO27001 standards. |
What We're Looking For
| Requirement | Details |

| Qualifications | First Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Certifications like CEH or CISSP required. |
| Experience | At least five years in cybersecurity. |
| Age | 25 to 37 years |
| Skills | Technical: Knowledge of SIEM, VAPT, and risk assessment. Behavioral: Honesty, teamwork, critical thinking. |
