About the Job

Are you passionate about cybersecurity? Join the Bank of Uganda’s IT Operations and Infrastructure Department as a Cybersecurity Officer (2 positions) to monitor and secure critical systems, reporting to the Team Leader, Cybersecurity.

Main Duties

Duty
Monitor security incidents using SIEM and NAC systems.
Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
Respond to security incidents and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with COBIT and ISO27001 standards.

What We're Looking For

Requirement	Details
Qualifications	First Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Certifications like CEH or CISSP required.
Experience	At least five years in cybersecurity.
Age	25 to 37 years
Skills	Technical: Knowledge of SIEM, VAPT, and risk assessment. Behavioral: Honesty, teamwork, critical thinking.
