Join the Bank of Uganda as a Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Officer (Job Ref: ITB4.01, Rank: BOII) in our IT Business Automation Department to shape data-driven solutions.
About the Job
As a Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Officer, you will report to the Team Leader, Data Warehouse, and develop Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to meet the Bank's needs.
Main Duties
- Manage and maintain the organization's Data Warehouse.
- Develop BI requirements and implement solutions.
- Create user and technical guides for BI solutions.
- Perform unit and integration testing.
- Provide third-level support for BI solutions.
- Document policies, practices, and change management processes.
What We Want
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| Qualifications | First Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. Microsoft Certified Data Engineer Associate certification is a plus. |
| Experience | No experience required. |
| Age | Not more than 30 years old by August 22, 2025. |
| Technical Skills | Familiarity with Agile methods, Python, SQL, and Power BI. |
| Behavioral Skills | Honesty, teamwork, analytical thinking, and self-motivation. |
