Job Summary
The Data Assistant will help plan keep an eye on and write down the actions of the GC.7 project at the cluster level.The job requires entering data on time and accurately cleaning validating and maintaining project databases to make sure that high-quality data is always available for reporting
The Assistant will also help program staff analyze and understand data keep track of progress toward goals and give stakeholders regular updates. In addition the job entails working closely with the M&E Coordinator and Prevention Officer to keep an eye on how activities are carried out make sure people are held accountable and make decisions based on data
Overall Duties
- Enter data about activities that have been put into place on time and accuratelyp
- Keep project databases up to date with all actions that have been done and regularly send the M&E Coordinator all the data sets that have been entered so they may be combined and analyzed
- Make sure that the community has access to current methods for collecting and reporting data so that services delivered to AGYW/ABYM and other target groups may be tracked effectively
- Help program teams look at and understand data
- Help make plans for work that will happen every week month and quarter
- Keep an eye on and track how project activities are going and help the Prevention Officer come up with ways to catch up if goals aren't met
- Help the Prevention Officer plan organize and carry out project activities as well as keep track of how well targets are being met
- Keep an eye on the Cluster PMP and give updates on progress every week month and quarter
- Plan set up and hold regular performance review meetings to update stakeholders on progress
- Check the data to make sure that periodic reports have reliable and consistent information
- Make sure that all of the planned and approved activities are done on time
Qualifications Experience and Skills Needed
- A bachelor's degree in statistics population and demographics quantitative economics or a related discipline
- At least two years of experience doing M&E work on health or livelihood programs that are financed by donors
- 2 Years of Relevant Work Experience
