What it is
Numida is looking for Commission-Based Field Collections Agents to call clients follow up on late payments and make sure that collections are made on schedule for the credit portfolio in accordance with Numida's rules
The job requires working closely with the Credit Operations team to handle client accounts and help make the collections effort a success

Duties
- Client Follow-up: Get in touch with clients to get back overdue payments keep track of payment commitments and keep the CRM up to date
- Field Collections: Go to clients' homes to get payments while still being professional and following the rules
- Reporting: Give Team Leaders and the Credit Operations Manager daily weekly and monthly updates on how recovery is going and what problems are coming up
- Client Relations: Make sure you have good ties with your clients so they pay on time and you can fix problems that are causing delays
- Compliance: Make sure that all interactions and recovery procedures are in line with Numida's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the law
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed collection goals to get the most out of your recovery efforts
- Collaboration: Work with supervisors and team leaders to make sure that recovery plans are in line with company goals
- Problem Solving: Find out what problems clients are having and come up with ways to help them get better and keep them as clients to avoid more defaults
What you need to do your job
- Experience: You need to have worked as a Collections Officer for at least two years
- Skills: Good at talking to and getting along with other people
- Worked in collections sales or with customers before
- Can work alone and take the lead
- Able to negotiate and solve problems well
- Good at managing time and keeping everything in order
- Being willing to travel and work in the field
- Able to use Android apps and PC productivity software like Google Drive Sheets and Docs
- Being able to speak and write English and the local languages (additional Ugandan languages are a plus)

- Number of clients visited in the loan groups they were given
- Amounts of loans collected
- Attempts to get in touch made
