Role Overview

The Field Collections Officer will be in charge of recovering overdue payments on time and professionally by conducting home visits, follow-ups, and repossessing assets from delinquent accounts.

You will maintain professional relationships while upholding MOGO’s values and customer service standards.

Duties, Roles & Responsibilities

• Follow up on overdue accounts via in-person visits and phone calls with professionalism and empathy
• Assess clients’ ability and willingness to pay; negotiate payment plans and emphasize delinquent recovery
• Meet daily collection targets
• Submit daily collection reports to line supervisor
• Investigate customer payment complaints or claims
• Correctly tag accounts in the system (e.g., PTP, unreachable, stolen cases)
• Contact local authorities, community leaders, or guarantors to locate absconded clients
• Resolve pending customer queries, concerns, and issues
• Adhere to company collection policies and regulations
