To lead a new project that combines sexual/reproductive health (SRHR), mental health, and maternal care with climate resilience strategies for girls and young women (15–24 years old) living in the urban slums of Kampala.
Duty | Description |

Project Coordination | Be in charge of planning, coordinating, and carrying out health project activities. |
Partnerships | Make partnerships with district health offices, community health workers, and local stakeholders stronger. |
Team Supervision | Oversee health teams, which include peer educators and mental health experts. |
Service Integration | Include SRHR, maternal health, and climate change adaptation in community services. |
Training | Teach people how to give healthcare that is friendly to teens and responds to climate change. |
Monitoring & Reporting | Keep an eye on and analyze the project's results, and write down the best ways to conduct things. |
Representation | Go to health coordination meetings on behalf of UYDEL. |
Requirement | Details |
---|---|
Education | A bachelor's degree in nursing, midwifery, or a similar subject (a master's degree is better). |
Registration | Registered midwife with at least three years of experience running health programs (youth projects or urban slums are best). |
Knowledge | Knowledgeable in SRHR, mental health, and the links between climate and health. |
Experience | Has worked well with NGOs, government health agencies, and communities in the past. |
Skills | Good at leading, training, and making reports. |
