Position Summary

Bureau Veritas is seeking a qualified Lifting Inspector to oversee lifting equipment inspections in Uganda The role requires ensuring compliance with international lifting standards and conducting thorough inspections of lifting equipment and operations

Qualifications and Requirements

Category	Details
Education	Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma or higher qualification
Experience	Minimum 5 years of lifting inspection experience Experience in oil and gas industry is preferred
Certifications	Minimum of 3 LEEA Diploma certificates (LEEA 1 LEEA 2 LEEA 3 and LEEA 4) Certification and experience in diverse NDT techniques particularly Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
Technical Knowledge	Comprehensive understanding of lifting industry standards including BS EN ISO 10855 BS EN 13414-1&2 BS EN 1677-1,2,3,4 BS 7121-1,2,3
Capabilities	Experience working on international projects Willingness to travel frequently or be based on project sites Ability to work in remote inspection locations Good physical health for demanding site work
