Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Officer at Ranchers Finest will ensure products meet customer expectations by implementing quality assurance processes and continuously improving the quality framework and procedures.

Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections, testing, and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality control standards
  • Collect, analyze, and provide feedback on quality control data to the Quality Control team
  • Develop and implement quality control methods and procedures
  • Maintain records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and audits
  • Communicate quality control issues or concerns to the Quality Control team
  • Assist in investigating and resolving quality control issues, implementing corrective measures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure company-wide adherence to quality control standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workplace, adhering to high housekeeping standards
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO and stock rotation practices

Qualifications, Education, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology or Food Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Certifications in ISO 9001, 14001, and 22000
  • Proficiency in HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP tools
  • Computer literacy
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
