Two Security Guard Positions

Job Purpose

To make sure that the SACCO's property assets staff and members are all safe and secure

Main Duties

• Keep an eye on and give permission for employees guests and other people to come and go
• Walk around the property often to keep everything in order and show that there is security
• Lock all doors windows and exits after work is done
• Keep an eye on alarm systems and security cameras
• Respond to crises and other events giving first aid as needed
• Write reports every day about what you did and any problems like damage to equipment or property
• Do whatever other tasks that the boss tells you to do

Experience and Qualifications

• A certified institution or company should give you a Certificate in Security Training
• The least amount of education you need is a PLE Results Slip
• A letter of recommendation from the Local Council I (LC1) Chairperson
• Being fit and aware
• Honesty and a strong feeling of duty
• Having worked in a similar job before is a big plus
