One Assistant Banking Officer Position

Job Purpose

To run the teller and customer service departments smoothly and accurately handling member transactions and questions in a professional manner

Main Duties

• Make sure that member transactions (deposits withdrawals transfers and bill payments) are processed correctly
• Answer questions from members and fix problems quickly and politely
• Opening an account and signing up as a member
• Help keep the database and member records up to date
• Make sure that cash is balanced and transactions are reconciled every day
• Tell members about the SACCO's goods and services
• Help senior officers with different banking chores and administrative work

Experience and qualifications

• At least a diploma in finance banking business administration or a similar profession
• Good with numbers and paying attention to details
• Knowledge of relevant computer programs such as MS Office and banking software
• Age: 20 to 30 years
• It's better if you have worked in a front-office banking or customer service job before
• A lot of honesty integrity and a focus on the consumer
