Role Purpose

Achieve sales targets for chicks and feed in assigned territory through technical support, farmer training, and relationship building. Ensure zero unsold stock and maximum farmer success to grow BPIL market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of chicks and feed in territory
  • Visit farmers regularly for technical support and training
  • Hold farmer meetings to boost product adoption
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Improve farmer management practices for business growth
  • Promote BPIL at events and in field
  • Acquire new customers and expand base
  • Analyze customer patterns, rearing systems, and growth potential
  • Feedback market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with promoters on demand creation
  • Hit monthly/quarterly/annual volume and UGX/kg targets
  • Cover all customers, take orders, push sales
  • Ensure all chicks sold, none left unsold

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Admin (Sales & Marketing), Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, or Veterinary
  • Training in Professional Selling or Customer Care (advantage)
  • 4-5 years in B2B sales (poultry/feed/pharma)
  • Extension work experience (advantage)
