Markh Investments is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee daily operations drive sales growth and ensure exceptional customer service at its Kampala branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing branch staff implementing business strategies and maintaining compliance with company policies while upholding the company’s brand reputation in the local market.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Branch Operations Management
Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency compliance and adherence to company policies
Coordinate seamlessly between sales administration service and finance departments
Monitor branch budgets control expenses and implement cost-saving measures
Team Leadership & Management
Recruit train supervise and mentor branch staff to achieve optimal performance
Set clear performance goals for individuals and teams and track progress regularly
Conduct staff meetings performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional development
Sales & Business Development
Drive sales performance to meet monthly quarterly and annual targets
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to expand the customer base and market share
Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key clients corporate partners and community stakeholders
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively
Foster strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and encourage repeat business
Financial & Performance Reporting
Prepare and submit detailed branch performance reports including sales expenses and profitability analysis
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to address gaps
Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management on branch performance
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure branch compliance with regulatory requirements company policies and operational standards
Manage operational staff and customer-related risks effectively
Safeguard company assets and maintain proper documentation and record-keeping

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Sales & Marketing Finance or a related field
Experience
3–5 years of experience in branch or operations management preferably in the automotive retail or service industry
Skills
Strong leadership coaching and people management skills Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets. Excellent customer service communication and negotiation skills Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business management software
