Business Analyst (4 Positions) - Bank of Uganda
Join the Bank of Uganda as a Business Analyst (Job Ref: ITB4.20, Rank: SBOI) in our IT Business Automation Department to enhance operational efficiency through innovative IT solutions.
About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will report to the Team Leader, Business Analysis, documenting and analyzing requirements to develop effective IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Create detailed documentation, including use cases and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with architects and developers on solution design.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and risk assessments.
- Provide technical input for quality assurance reviews.
What We’re Looking For
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| Qualifications | First Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Business Analysis or Project Management certifications are a plus. |
| Experience | At least 6 years in IT business analysis. |
| Age | 32.0–37.0 years by August 22, 2025. |
| Technical Competencies | Business analysis, project management, and report writing skills. |
| Behavioral Competencies | Analytical thinking, teamwork, and innovativeness. |
