Lead technical operations aboard our vessels, ensuring safe and efficient maintenance of all machinery while protecting Lake Victoria's environment. You'll oversee engine room staff, maintenance programs, and compliance with international marine standards.

Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience | |
---|---|
Education | Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or A-Level with Math/Physics |
Certification | Class II Chief Engineer's Certificate (750KW-3000KW vessels) |
Experience | 6+ years as Chief/2nd Engineer |
Mandatory Courses | STCW, Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, Survival Craft |
Eligibility Note: This position is open to Ugandan and East African Community citizens following insufficient qualified Ugandan applicants. Successful candidate must comply with URC terms of service.
