Job Summary
The Client Relationship Officer will build and maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly. The role focuses on engaging both potential and existing clients to drive revenue through new insurance sales, particularly in medical care insurance, while ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Conduct customer analysis to understand client needs and provide tailored medical care insurance solutions that benefit both the client and the company
- Develop and implement a CRM strategy and partnerships for a designated client group
- Follow medical care processes and procedures efficiently for onboarding new clients and retaining existing ones
- Prepare and send renewal proposals at least 60 days before insurance policies expire
- Arrange meetings to discuss renewals and lead negotiations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Ensure all client calls and cases are received, logged, and resolved within medical care SLAs for prompt issue resolution
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities to proactively retain clients
- Conduct regular client visits and deliver presentations, especially to existing policyholders
- Provide regular reports on client numbers and insured lives
- Set and achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly retention goals using the business retention rate metric
Qualifications, Education, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in customer service
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and building long-term partnerships
