HR Beyond Limits is a leading HR consulting firm in Kampala, delivering recruitment, training, and organizational development solutions. We partner with top firms to place high-caliber talent efficiently and ethically. Our client is a Ugandan leader in civil construction, water treatment, irrigation, and EPC projects.

Role Purpose

Combine engineering expertise with sales acumen to grow revenue by promoting pumps, generators, irrigation systems, and water solutions. Identify client needs, deliver technical proposals, and close deals while building long-term B2B relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and secure new clients in construction, agriculture, and water sectors
  • Map market opportunities and competitor strategies
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events

Technical Sales & Proposals

  • Conduct product demos, site visits, and technical presentations
  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals, quotations, and submittals
  • Coordinate with engineering and procurement for accurate solutions

Client Relationship & Support

  • Build and nurture key client relationships
  • Provide after-sales support: installation, training, troubleshooting
  • Handle inquiries and resolve complaints promptly

Reporting & Strategy

  • Submit weekly sales forecasts, activity reports, and market insights
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Monitor pricing, trends, and competitor moves

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 2–3 years in technical sales (pumps, generators, irrigation preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Strong technical aptitude and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
