Job Purpose

The Distribution Driver executes 2nd Tier deliveries (secondary distribution) as per routing schedules, ensuring 100 percent safety compliance, accurate inventory, and on-time delivery of products to Points of Contact (POCs).

Key Responsibilities

Operate 2nd Tier delivery vehicles safely and legally
Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections (oil, water, damages); report faults
Deliver orders per planned route and schedule
Ensure inventory matches order at departure and collection at POC
Adhere to DPO Safety Pillar and all HSE guidelines
Maintain accurate delivery records and reconciliations
Promote a SAFE, Healthy, and Risk-Free work environment

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Grade 12 (O-Level Certificate)
Experience: 2 to 3 years in Stock Control (FMCG preferred)
License: Valid, unendorsed Heavy Duty Vehicle License
Systems:
- Sound knowledge of SAP R3
- Advanced SAP system proficiency
Skills: Safety-conscious, route planning, inventory accuracy, record-keeping
