Job Summary:

Oversee the generation of foreign exchange trading income by dealing in foreign currencies on behalf of the Bank within the bank's risk management framework and strategy.

Important Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set foreign exchange rates that are competitive based on market conditions and update them right away
• Send foreign exchange rates to all branches in a timely manner
• Make the market by contacting clients and counterparty banks
• Make sure there is a lot of turnover to make money from trading and reach set goals
• Trade within limits for counterparty, dealer, and exposure
• Keep the right amount of money in the nostro accounts for settlements
• Talk to customers to find out what they need in forex and come up with solutions
• Be responsible for the growth of Treasury dealing customers
• Manage income from off-balance sheet deals

Qualifications and Work Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• ACI certification is required
• An ACI diploma or anything similar is a plus

Skills and Experience:

• Good at trading foreign currencies
• Clear understanding of financial markets
• Good at managing relationships
• Knowledge of Treasury and general Bank products
• Understanding of all Treasury products and management
