Fully include national content in assigned procurements in accordance with the rules the TotalEnergies EP Uganda (Company) & Project strategy and the Company & Project national content program In assigned procurements provide specific national content goals and approve national content techniques (like instructions templates etc) and requirements (like pre-qualifications calls for bids contracts etc)
Help bidders understand explain and enhance their national content proposals (plans and pledges) so that they meet regulatory requirements the Company's and Project's strategy and the Company's and Project's national content program
Go over and assess national content suggestions in detail write reports as needed and present them At the contract award stage check that contractors' national content proposals are complete and suitable for national content performance monitoring and reporting during execution Make sure that final contracts (national content exhibit accepted proposals etc) include the most recent and authorized national content criteria
During the execution of contract operations coordinate between the NC team the Company and Project teams and the Company and Project contractors Communicate national content standards offer help and make sure that performance compliance and reporting are all up to par (for example through meetings engagements site visits and so on)
Stay up to date on and keep an eye on what contractors are doing to make sure they are following national content laws and rules
Look over contractors' updated and yearly national content requirements and working-level submissions such as questions bidder lists bid assessment reports the yearly local supply chain schedule the yearly plans for technology transfer and capacity creation and so on Give advice on whether something is good enough or needs to be better and then suggest it for approval
Make sure that contractors pass national content down the supply chain by following up and advising on how to carry out tasks and if necessary suggesting ways to support and improve national content in the supply chain (such tools templates and guidance notes)
Make sure that contractors turn in national content reports on schedule and with the right information Check suggest changes confirm and make sure that correct reports are sent to the NC methods and reporting officials
Help plan and carry out national content work program activities for both the company and the project as well as for outside contractors These activities could include workshops capacity-building initiatives technology transfer programs and more
Keep an eye on and report on the progress of national content work program activities that are done inside the company (eg workshops capacity building initiatives technology transfer programs etc) and outside the company (eg contractors)
Work with advise and help both internal and external stakeholders on issues connected to national content
Make show and turn in reports and presentations that have been approved for internal and external communication coordination and reporting of national content information
Help with other national content issues such as during internal and external audits making procedures better (such as instructions templates processes tools etc) and so on
Keep complete and correct records of each country's content information on the shared drive (W) or as needed
Other duties as assigned
Write the daily and weekly report in his field
Write the final paperwork in his field
Set up good communication with the person who will be replacing him

Proven experience in managing projects
Proven experience in managing contracts
A lot of knowledge and understanding of buying things and making deals especially in the oil and gas industry
A good awareness of Uganda's oil and gas activities and the laws rules and policies that have to do with national content

Creative and able to work alone or with others
The ability to manage relationships well
Good at creating reports and doing research
Good analytical skills and way of thinking
Able to speak and present well in front of others
Great communication abilities both written and spoken and with other people
Good at negotiating and running things
Good with computers especially Word Excel and PowerPoint
