Job Summary

The Lubricants Manager will drive business growth and sales performance in the lubricants sector, managing new and existing customers in the assigned region. This temporary 6-month role focuses on executing the affiliate’s lubricant business strategy, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.

Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to formulating the affiliate’s Lubricants Business Strategy for retail network channels
  • Execute the affiliate’s lubricant business strategy on the retail network channel
  • Analyze market trends to adapt the route-to-market based on customer needs and competitor initiatives
  • Lead efforts to meet customer commitments and ensure reciprocal delivery
  • Understand and communicate technical, business, and marketing details of all lubricant brands sold
  • Identify stakeholder training needs and conduct awareness and training for dealers, technicians, customer service attendants, and end customers
  • Implement and monitor corporate health, safety, environment, and quality standards in lubricant activities
  • Drive and monitor retail lubricants sales growth across all channels (bay, back court, forecourt)
  • Track minimum stock levels to prevent stock-outs for each SKU at retail service stations
  • Design, implement, and coordinate sales promotions for lubricants and specialty products
  • Prepare sales reports and projections
  • Oversee visual presentation and product merchandising at retail service stations
  • Record and follow up on customer complaints and feedback
  • Monitor warehouse stock balances to ensure no stock-outs or shortages
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Commerce, Economics, or a related professional qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales and marketing
  • Good knowledge of specialties, lubricants, and petroleum products
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong selling and negotiation skills
    • Effective management skills
    • Computer literacy
