Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Post job openings, assist with interviews, conduct orientation programs, monitor probation periods, and update job descriptions.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Support payroll processing, manage employee benefits, and administer performance-based incentives.
  • Training and Development: Organize and manage the annual training calendar and assess training needs.
  • Employee Relations and Welfare: Address employee queries, promote well-being, and support grievance handling and compliance.
  • Performance Management: Assist with performance evaluations and monitor performance data.
  • Expatriate Support: Facilitate work permits, visas, and accommodation arrangements for expatriates.
  • Union Engagement: Collaborate with shop stewards to resolve employee issues.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications and Skills

RequirementDetails
EducationBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
ExperienceMinimum 3 years in a generalist HR role
Technical SkillsProficiency in HR systems such as SAP and SAGE
Organizational SkillsStrong organizational and interpersonal skills
MultitaskingAbility to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
Work StyleSelf-starter with strong teamwork and attention to detail
